Community Kids
Community Kids exists to encourage children to have a firm knowledge of God’s Word and a desire to follow Christ in all areas of their lives. We want them to know how God has revealed Himself through His Word and to know more than just a Bible story. For that reason, our curriculum is God-centered. Equally important, we want children to see the love of Jesus modeled by caring adults. We feel that the primary spiritual influence in a child’s life should be his parents. With that in mind, we will do all we can to support you in your child’s spiritual training.
Sundays at CCE
CCE is a place for families and we love seeing families worship together! We encourage families to be a part of worship services, but we also understand the need to provide options for childcare and age-appropriate teaching. After a time of worship through singing and prayer, our children are dismissed to Community Kids, where they will hear bible lessons, partcipate in activities or make a craft. You can check-in your child for Community Kids before the service or when you drop them off. Our nursery is also available during the service.
During our worship services, if you need to step out with your child, our Family Care room is always available and you can still watch the service.
This summer we will be guiding kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!
