Get Involved
You’ve probably already noticed that community is our first name. We’ve done that on purpose because we are a congregation of everyday people who come together in a community…a community of learning and faith, of raising kids and strengthening marriages, of discovering the kind of life God desires for each of us.
The more you get involved at CCE, the more you’ll experience how our faith in Christ shapes what we do. If you’re looking for a church home—a place to belong and a place to grow—we hope you’ll join us
Children's Ministries
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." - Luke 18:16-17
Open to everyone - family - friends - neighbors are welcome
We want our young children to have an understanding of God's love, an early foundation in His Word and a delight in His creation. All our classes are staffed by screened volunteers.
Kid's Sunday Schedule
9:00-10:00 Nursery birth to age three.
9:00-10:00 Elementary children join family for worship and then are invited to join adults for an age appropriate time of teaching.
10:15-11:00 Sunday School classes for all ages. All our classes are staffed by screened volunteers.
Youth Ministries
Both the High School and Middle School Youth Groups seek to provide a fun environment for students to grow in their knowledge (both with their minds and their hearts) of God, His Word and His glorious call on our lives. They provide a place where Christ is exalted in the hope that students will trust Him, join with Him both in His death and His true and everlasting life. We pray that the young people we interact with will be shaped more in the image of Christ daily.
Our Youth meet weekly (Middle School on Wednesday; High School on Sunday) from 6:30 to 8:00.
Both Middle School and High School Sunday School meet on Sunday Mornings at 10:15.
Please direct any further questions to our Children’s and Youth Ministry Director.
You can find more information about our youth ministries on our Facebook page "Community Church of Ephrata Youth Group".
Adult and Family Ministries
Community Church of Ephrata is more than a Sunday gathering or a meeting, we are a family. As a family, we desire to live life with one another in authentic relationships, partnering in the highs and lows of life and growing together. We invite people to come as they are, as imperfect people but with a perfect Savior, to grow in loving and living for Christ.
Watch the calendar and get involved.
Women's Ministries
The Women’s Ministry Team strives to equip women to know and demonstrate God’s grace through relationship, character development & spiritual growth. The team coordinates a number of activities throughout the year to serve women of the church and the community including an Annual Christmas Celebration and Auction, a retreat, Mother’s Day Brunch, and Bible Studies throughout the year.
Missions
God is out to rescue people from every ethnic group in the world - that's His mission. He is accomplishing that goal through sending messengers to every corner of the earth with the good news of Jesus Christ. As His church, that's our mission. As a result, missions and outreach in our community, our country, and our world are an important part of CCE!
Worship and Arts
Do you enjoy singing to the Lord in worship? Do you play a musical instrument? This ministry helps lead the congregation to worship on Sunday mornings and during special events throughout the year. The Levites of the Old Testament served their Lord by preparing themselves to lead the people in offering worship that was acceptable to Him. This is the focus of our ministry. Would you like to be a present day Levite? Be part of Worship and Arts - call the church office for more information.
Praise Team and Band
Meets Thursdays Evenings
An ensemble of vocalists and instrumentalists lead singing for most services. These folks help to create an atmosphere of worship where God is honored and His people lift up their voices in praise!

Deacons
We care! The purpose of the Deacons' Ministry is to care for the needs of our church and surrounding community. This takes on a wide variety of services (emergency assistance, visitation, outreach, parish ministry, etc.) and includes partnering with local ministries. Our interest in this begins and ends with the Gospel.
If you need some help or feel called to serve and love behind the scenes, please let us know. We can find a place to use your gifts!
